Ken’s volleyball career started in 2006, where he attended fellow ECE Coach and Director Joy Zhou’s volleyball clinic. Ken was a part of the Thomas S. Wootton High School’s Boys and Coed Varsity Volleyball team all four years of high school, making it as captain in his sophomore year. Aside from high school volleyball, Ken also played for the Maryland Volleyball Program (MVP) 2010-2011 as the libero.

After a minor break in college, Ken reignited his passion for volleyball by playing casually at local recreation centers and competitively in local leagues, tournaments and 9man volleyball club. Currently, Ken is the head coach of the Albert Einstein High School JV Girls Volleyball team.
