Tsunami and Typhoon had another great weekend at the Columbia 17/18 Invite with Tsunami finishing second and Typhoon finishing 3rd. In pool play, Typhoon finished first on their net with only 1 set lost and advanced to the semis! Tsunami battled in a 3rd set playoff to finish second on their net and advanced to the semis. Alas, the tournament gurus saw fit to have the ECE teams meet in the semis (again), where only one ECE team could appear in the finals. After a close and well-fought match, Tsunami advanced to the finals. Ultimately, Tsunami fell to MAVBC to bring home the silver. Congratulations to Tsunami and Typhoon on a great day!
