*** It is extremely important that you use the same email address (PARENT’s email) for BOTH your SportsEngine account and your CHRVA membership account!   Please do not have the player register CHRVA membership themselves using their own email.    SportsEngine has the option for FAMILY/Household ACCOUNT and the Account Holder must an adult/parent/guardian. Players/children may have their own Profiles and can be under this FAMILY ACCOUNT (See the clarification about FAMILY/Household ACCOUNT, Account Holder, and Player/Children’s sub-profile HERE )

FAQ About CHRVA Membership
Q1: What is CHRVA membership?

Rules of USA Volleyball require that all players must be members of USA Volleyball in CHRVA region in order to participate in volleyball tryouts. Information about USA Volleyball CHRVA membership can be found here.

Q3: Can the player register CHRVA membership after ECE’s tryouts or after making a team?

No. Players must be members of USA Volleyball in CHRVA region before participating ECE’s tryouts with no exception. Players can not participate ECE’s tryouts without the proof of a valid and active 2024-2025 CHRVA membership.

Q4: Should I register “$55 Full Season Membership” or “$25 Junior Tryout – 10 days”? 

Before tryouts, players are required to apply for either the “$55 Regular Jr Girls 9-17 (full membership)“ or “$25 Junior Tryout- 10 days (limited membership)“.  If using the “$25 Junior Tryout- 10 days (limited membership)“, after making an ECE Elite Team, you must upgrade your CHRVA membership to a full membership before the Signing Day on November 10, 2024. Players who select “Annual Full membership” but don’t make a team will NOT be able to receive a refund from CHRVA nor ECE. 

Q5: Which Club should I indicate in the CHRVA Membership form?

Indicate the club as “Undecided” when initially registering for CHRVA membership. Once a player obtains an offer to play for a team, and accepts the offer; the player or the player’s agent(s)/parent(s)/legal guardian(s) must go back into the CHRVA online registration system and confirm the signing club, ex: ECE.

Q6: In addition to CHRVA Membership, are any other documents required for players?

For attending ECE’s tryouts, a completed and signed USAV Medical Release Form is required. After making a team, on the mandatory signing day on November 10, 2024, ECE Coaches will be required to collect and keep copies of player’s birth certificate in addition to a valid and active CHRVA Membership card for 2024-2025 season. Coaches are also required by CHARVA to have all these documents with them at all practices and tournaments to fulfill the requirement to prove age compliance.
